Children belong in families. They need to be with parents who love them, care for them and protect them.
Children should not be separated from their brothers, sisters, parents and grandparents because of poverty or lack of access to education. Together we can make this a reality for the children of Thailand.

Alternative Care Thailand is a coalition of like minded NGOs and individuals working together with the aim of implementing the UN Guidelines for the alternative care of children in Thailand. The Convention on the Rights of the Child Coalition for Thailand (CRCCT) members are working in partnership with each other and with the Royal Thai Government with the aim of facilitating full implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child in Thailand.

Alternative Care Thailand เป็นเครือข่ายความร่วมมือขององค์กรพัฒนาเอกชนและบุคคลที่มีแนวคิดสอดคล้องกัน ซึ่งทำงานร่วมกันโดยมีเป้าหมายเพื่อผลักดันการดำเนินงานตามแนวปฏิบัติของสหประชาชาติว่าด้วยการเลี้ยงดูทดแทนสำหรับเด็กในประเทศไทย

สมาชิกภาคีเครือข่ายสิทธิเด็กประเทศไทย (The Convention on the Rights of the Child Coalition for Thailand หรือ CRCCT) ร่วมกันเป็นพันธมิตรกับรัฐบาลโดยกรมกิจการเด็กและเยาชน กระทรวงพัฒนาสังคมและความมั่นคงของมนุษย์ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อนำหลักการต่างๆ ตามอนุสัญญาว่าด้วยสิทธิเด็กไปใช้ให้เกิดผลในทางปฏิบัติอย่างเต็มรูปแบบในประเทศไทย

Step Ahead Foundation has been working for over 20 years in urban poor communities to strengthen vulnerable and low-income families. Its mission is to keep families together by preventing unnecessary child separation and providing holistic support such as income generation, education, life-skills, psychosocial care, and health services. The foundation also promotes family-based alternative care instead of institutionalization, ensuring children grow up in safe and nurturing family environments while fostering long-term wellbeing and sustainable community transformation.

มูลนิธิก้าวหน้าพัฒนาดำเนินงานมากว่า 20 ปีในชุมชนเมืองยากจน เพื่อเสริมสร้างความเข้มแข็ง ให้แก่ครอบครัวที่มีรายได้น้อยและครอบครัวที่อยู่ในภาวะเสี่ยง โดยมีพันธกิจหลักคือการ รักษาครอบครัวให้อยู่ร่วมกัน ป้องกันไม่ให้เด็กต้องถูกแยกจากครอบครัวโดยไม่จำเป็น พร้อมให้การสนับสนุนแบบรอบด้าน ทั้งการสร้างรายได้ การศึกษา ทักษะชีวิต การดูแลด้านจิตใจ-สังคม และการเข้าถึงบริการสุขภาพ อีกทั้งยังส่งเสริม การเลี้ยงดูแบบครอบครัวทดแทน แทนการอยู่ในสถานสงเคราะห์ เพื่อให้เด็กได้เติบโตในสภาพแวดล้อม ที่ปลอดภัยและอบอุ่น พร้อมสร้างความยั่งยืนแก่ครอบครัวและชุมชน

Christian care foundation for Children with Disabilities (CCD) works with families who have children with disabilities, in order to support them. There is a Day Care Centre in Pak Kret, and staff also work within the community to provide services for the development of children with disabilities as well as physiotherapy. In addition, training is provided for families to strengthen them, so that they will not abandon the children with disabilities in their care. CCD operates in two provinces: Nonthaburi and Pathum Thani.

มูลนิธิคริสเตียนเพื่อการดูแลเด็กพิการ (CCD) ทำงานร่วมกับครอบครัวที่มีเด็กพิการเพื่อให้การสนับสนุน มีศูนย์ดูแลเด็กกลางวันตั้งอยู่ที่ปากเกร็ด และเจ้าหน้าที่ก็ทำงานในชุมชนเพื่อให้บริการด้านการพัฒนาเด็กพิการ รวมถึงกายภาพบำบัด นอกจากนี้ ยังมีการจัดอบรมให้แก่ครอบครัวเพื่อเสริมสร้างความเข้มแข็ง เพื่อที่พวกเขาจะไม่ทอดทิ้งเด็กพิการที่อยู่ในความดูแล มูลนิธิ CCD ดำเนินงานใน 2 จังหวัด ได้แก่ นนทบุรี และปทุมธานี

One Sky is a Thai registered foundation dedicated to strengthening systems of protection for Thailand’s marginalised children and their families.

• We provide a comprehensive range of support services to families at risk of giving up their children.
• We provide training to private children’s homes in the international child rights framework and also in family support provision.
• We work in partnership to strengthen the child protection system at district and provincial levels.
• We develop scalable models of NGO/government partnership including gatekeeping and foster care.
• We conduct surveys and research to evidence the need for change for Thailand to become more compliant with the CRC and UN Guidelines.

Sahathai Foundation provides core services to ensure that children grow up in a nurturing and protective family environment, including Family Strengthening, Foster Care, and Adoption as a last resort. In addition, the foundation offers outreach programs that promote community-based child and family development, including daycare, creative play areas, and children’s life skill development programs.

GCA is a dedicated team of child protection specialists whose mission is to strengthen the layers of protection around children to prevent abuse, trafficking, and exploitation. GCA pursues its vision through four areas of focus: Family Preservation, Advocacy, Transforming Care, and Permanency.

Our purpose is to keep loving families together, preventing the relinquishment of children to orphanages by those facing poverty or financial hardship. Through strategic partnerships, Building Strong Families provides holistic strengthening opportunities for at-risk families caring for orphaned and vulnerable children, empowering them to become resilient and self-sustaining.

The Salvation Army Foundation in Thailand is actively developing community-based programs to strengthen vulnerable families and prevent unnecessary child-family separation. In Chiang Mai, our emerging work supports children, parents, and communities through after-school care, education support, parent capacity-building, and community engagement.
